Orientation Session
Orientation Session
On September 2, 2024, the PCRL project team conducted a one-day orientation session to ensure that all Implementing Partners understood the project’s M&E, KM tools, gender mainstreaming, and communications brainstorming.
Attendees included the FAO’s M&E Specialist and focal points of the three Implementing Partners (IPs): IRRI, WCS, and CiRD, with a total of 15 participants including 2 women.
The coaching covered presentations on gender mainstreaming concepts (Ms. Sok Vanna, Gender Specialist), communications (Mr. Yos Katank, Communications Specialist), and M&E tools and systems (by Dr. Prum Vothana, M&E and KM Specialist), as well as presentations by the 3 IPs on their respective planning of indicators, activities, and outputs for 2025-2027.
Following the coaching, participants discussed the consistent application of approved M&E tools, gender mainstreaming, gender-responsive and action plans, communications, and a work plan within the PCRL project activities and other reporting systems.
PCRL is a five-year joint initiative by the FAO, GDA of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, and GDLC of the Ministry of Environment, funded by the Global Environment Facility.
