Mission to collect data and informatio

On August 8, 2024, the PCRL project team, under coordination by Pursat Provincial Coordinator and in the presence of Dr. Krishna Pant, an intermittent consultant, beginning his assignment on Agricultural Climate Change Adaptation Planning (CCAP), and Mr. Chan Danith, a national consultant on Climate Change Adaptation Planning in the Agriculture Sector, conducted a mission to collect data and information on climate change adaptation plans at the national and sub-national levels, having discussed work with technical officers of Pursat Provincial Department of Planning, Phteah Rong Commune Administration and Phteah Rong Rong Roeung Agricultural Cooperative Committee.

This data collection has achieved good results, such as understanding the data management system of the Provincial Planning Department, the PCRL Baseline Survey at the sub-national level, the process of preparing and managing the Commune Investment Plan (CIP), the Commune Data Base (CDB), and understanding methods for incorporating sub-national climate change adaptation plans.

PCRL is a five-year joint initiative by the FAO, GDA of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, and GDLC of the Ministry of Environment, funded by the Global Environment Facility.
